Operation Greyhound has been re-opened after evacuation on Monday, October 20th. No damage to home, kennel, or equipment occurred during the fires. At this time we could use the assistance of volunteers to off-load the vans, put the kennel back together, and process the returning greyhounds. We wish to thank all the volunteers and those who phoned or e-mailed to offer assistance during this event. |

It is with sadness to hear that Dr. Andrew Klotz lost his home in the Escondido fire. His greyhound "Flash" and Irish Wolfhound "Moose" are fine. |

If you have lost or found a greyhound, please let us know. We have received several phone calls from people finding greyhounds, but have not received word if the unknown owners have recovered them. We need to update our database with "adopted names" of all greyhounds, plus new addresses and especially emergency phone numbers. |
