Adobe Acrobat Reader You will need Adobe Acrobat to view some of the documents on this site, such as our adoption application. If you do not have a current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader please download Acrobat 4.0 or higher here. Our Adoption Process And Application If you would like to inquire about adopting a dog from Operation Greyhound, please complete our Adoption Application If you have any questions on completing the form, please contact Bob Palmatier at operationgreyhound@cox.net. Our adoption process is for the benefit of both the dogs and potential greyhound families. We qualify families based on their needs and attempt to match those to the needs of our dogs. You can download an Adoption Application in PDF format. Completing it is the first step in the adoption process. Once the application is received, a volunteer will call you to set up a home visit. Our volunteer can help you see your home through a greyhound's eyes. Remember, your greyhound may have never seen things like stairs and sliding glass doors. Once these criteria are met, you are ready to pick out your greyhound. Your volunteer will give you directions to and visiting hours for our rescue. The volunteers at our rescue are very knowlegeable about each dog and eager to help you choose your new greyhound friend. Your greyhound will
come to you having been given a dental exam and cleaning, licensed, spayed
or neutered, vaccinated, wormed, blood tested for tick-diseases, groomed
and with a colar. Our adoption fee which helps cover the cost of these
services and is currently $210. Mailing address for Adoption Applications: Operation
