"Carnival de Greyhounds" Reunion/Picnic

Thge 17th Annual Greyhound Reunion/Picnic, Carnival de Greyhounds, was a tremendous success. Mother Nature provided us with a sunny, mild 80-degree day. Over 165 people and 112 greyhounds and other canine breeds attended the gala event.

Donations from many generous individuals, and proceeds from the Super Raffle, Greywood Kennels Nail Salon, and the Silent/Live Auctions raised much needed funds for the greyhounds.

Russ McKamey and Carol Schultz provided lively festive music and MC'd the event. While enjoying the picnic lunch prepared by the Monaghan Grill Works, the Scottish Ceilidh band played enchanting Celtic aires.

The winner of the 1st Super Raffle Prize was Robert Perry of Tarzana, California. Winners of the 2nd prize were Maria and Michael Carter of Santee, CA.
